About the event
Noir Night is your ticket to Paradise Valley! Every February, IBBC restores golden-era glory to the Motor City by letting audiences step into a glimpse of vintage Detroit. There are automobiles, motion pictures, jazz, furs and most importantly... burlesque!
After a brief hiatus, Noir Night is back and bigger than ever. And to mark the special occasion, we've brought a friend along. The famous, if not infamous, Aziah "Zola Moon" Wells will debut her first burlesque performance on Noir Night's stage. All this will be accompanied by an amazing cast featuring a full brass band, chorus line dancers, international performances, and so much more.
Since its inception, Noir Night has been about educating and empowering through art and entertainment. We hope you'll join us on this journey and help Nor Night '17 exceed its potential.

Why should you sponsor?
*Expose your brand to a guaranteed audience of over 100,000, with access to media outlets like Rolling Stone, The Huffington Post, BuzzFeed, TMZ and TIME and MTV potentially taking it to the millions!*
Over the years, IBBC has grown from a social media page for black performers to communicate with one another, to one of the most reputable platforms in burlesque.
With one of the largest archives on burlesque history, we've gone on to lecture at the Charles H. Wright museum of African American History and the Foundation for Sex Positive Culture, as well as being sourced for an article on Buzzfeed, and interviewed for NPR. We've been fortunate enough to not only become a pillar that keeps black burlesque relevant, but became a pulse in the revival of burlesque itself.
Noir Night has been crucial in making that possible.
Our shows have grown in audience, venue and production value, every single time. And in spite of 2016 being a year of relative rest for us, the opportunities of 2017 are proving that our best work is yet to come.
We're looking to build relationships that outlast this production, and grant our partners access to our international audience, as well as build relationships with the major brands and publications in our network. If you're looking to expand your brand beyond Metro Detroit, and to young, black and professional demographics in North America, Europe and Africa, we would love to help you build that platform.
If you are looking to sponsor or partner with us, please, send us an email at *****@****.***. We'd love to hear your ideas.
International Black Burlesque Company produces shows and educational seminars on the anthropology Black Burlesque.
Our goal is to add bawdy humor to the narrative in current discussions about race and sexuality.
Our overall goal is to share different perspectives of the Black experience with our audience.
