About the event

No One Gets There Alone is an evening to benefit Elevate New York's (ENY) mission. Elevate New York is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to builds long-term, life-changing relationships with youth, equipping them to thrive and contribute to their community. Elevate New York improves the lives of NYC public school students through four coordinated components: daily accredited classes, mentoring, adventure activities, and college and career training. Our holistic approach to youth development provides social-emotional support to youth as they explore new experiences and face new challenges; providing them with the foundation necessary to flourish into leaders.

Kara King

My name is Kara King and I am the Development Director for Elevate New York. I hold a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management from Columbia University and a Professional Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Northwestern University. Prior to joining Elevate’s team I worked with international, national, and regional nonprofit organizations in fundraising, special events, and development management.
