New Year's Eve Brooklyn Ball Rise,

About the event

This event is expected to draw thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, to the Downtown area where the ball will rise for the world to witness. As you may know, Brooklyn boasts a diverse population of an estimated 2.5 million people.  This event represents an excellent opportunity to actively engage with the people of this populous borough. It has been noted that if Brooklyn were to secede from New York City, it would be considered the 4th largest city in the country.  We have tapped NBC and CBS to cover this event, which shifts the attention from local exposure to national exposure which will undoubtedly account for an increase in viewership (an expected 15-20 million, according to Nielson’s national estimates). As impressive as this may be; however, there is an additional level of enhancement that should be mentioned here. We are equally excited to inform you that Samsung is an official sponsor for the NYE Brooklyn Ball Rising event as well!  As a contributing sponsor, they will be outfitting the interior of the ball with several digital cameras, which will display images of the different Brooklyn neighborhoods along with other desired images. A fully flexible and functional photo display center, within the interior of the ball, is just one awesome demonstration of their involvement and the endless possibilities which a collaborative effort can bring.  In addition, they will be outfitting the streets of Brooklyn with interactive display terminals which will keep viewers informed of the events as they unfold.
