    ALOHA

    ALOHA Mind Math is a national education franchise specializing in helping students in grades K-6 build long-term math, reading, and writing skills. With over 100 learning centers across the country and thousands of students enrolled, ALOHA helps improve and enrich the academic lives of our future thinkers.

     

    National Math Challenge

    The 3rd annual ALOHA National Math Challenge is a national math competition open to all students in grades 1-6. Students compete for over $43,000 in prize money awarded to the 5 winners in each of 3 categories, along with the national recognition of winning this elite competition. Students are tested based on their grade level with competitive math questions and compete to qualify through the 3 stages: Preliminary, Semifinals, and Finals.

    In 2018, over 1,300 students qualified to compete with 17 winners taking home prizes ranging from $500 to $10,000.

     

    Who, When, and Where

    The 2019 competition should have over 2,000 participants who qualify to compete. Preliminary tests will be administered at our learning centers across the country and testing will begin in March 2019. The Semifinals will be held the weekend of April 13th, and the finals will be hosted in-person in New Jersey on May 11th, 2019.

    Last year, ALOHA spent over $18,000 promoting the competition via social media. This year we plan to surpass that amount with targeted campaigns to reach our demographic. We have millions of impressions and reach hundreds of thousands of families with these efforts.

     $10,000 on TV advertisements targeting South Asian and Asian channels.

    Signage

    Leveraging our local footprints nationally, ALOHA uses our 100+ centers to market the competition. Flyers and posters are displayed in each of our locations for weeks so that thousands of families see our message weekly.

    Targeted email campaigns messaging the thousands of members in our community and potential new clients.
