About the event
Miss Samoa Victoria Inc Pageant 2018 is a cultural pageant (Samoan) that focuses on finding a representative of the Samoan community in Victoria who wil compete in the Miss Samoa Pageant (Main pageant) in Apia, Samoa. Winner of the Miss Samoa pageant then competes for the Miss Pacific Islands Pageant as an ambassador of the Pacific Islands to the world.
The pageant as a platform is a celebration of culture through Fashion, Talent and Music/Dance performances. It focuses on nurturing the talent in clothing designers, make-up artists, performance coaches, photographers and dance performance artists. All creative elements are sourced from Samoans in the community who seek to expand their exposure to the community through the pageant as well as through the release of our event DVD and online streaming of the event.
Our event is followed by audiences in Samoa, New Zealand and the United States of America as well as the Pacific Islands (who are competitors in the Miss Pacific Islands pageant).

Miss Samoa Victoria Incorporated is a legally registered Non-For-Profit organization (through Consumer Affairs Victoria) and acknowledged by the Victoria Samoa Advisory Council (who are endorsed by the High Commissioner of Samoa to Australia) We are recognized by the Miss Samoa Pageant Committee as well as event management organisation SEI Events & Management. As a committee with Board of Directors, we reserve the right to appoint a representative through Pageant selection, Panel selection or Appointment and comprehensively follow the rules and regulations of the Miss Samoa Pageant administered by organizers. We endevour to support our representative with honor, humility and integrity to ensure we represent our Samoan culture to the world. We work in partnerships with the families, community organisations and samoan businesses to ensure we conduct business with honor and non-corruption.
Tony FrettonThe Miss Samoa Victoria Inc Committee is made up of professional Samoans of Victoria. We have successfully entered a contestant in the 2017 Miss Samoa pageant and placed 2nd Runner Up. This year, we hope to take our representative to win the crown.
