About the event
The Miss Portuguesa Pageant is the biggest beauty contest in Portugal, which has been held annually since 2011, taking the rights for Portugal of the prestigious 5 Grand Slam Beauty Pageants:
Miss World
Miss Universe
Miss International
Miss Supranational
Miss Grand International
The Miss Portuguesa Pageant elects annually the Portuguese women who represent our country in the main international beauty contests, representing and owning the rights to Portugal beyond the 5 Grand Slam contests, 19 other contests international traditions of great tradition and prestige.

Isidro de BritoThe Miss Portuguesa contest is carried out by MMRP –Beleza for a cause, a non-profit institution that associates the brand with Portuguese society, raising sponsorships and support to enable the continuity of the project, not only the show but also the training part of the young women who adhere to the project.
The training is based on principles based on the valorization of the Portuguese identity and on the awareness that, in addition to the exterior beauty, young women are capable of carrying out any activity, any profession in any place and position. This empowerment is present in the attitude of a Miss, and it is in this spirit that we encourage other women to incorporate that same ideal.
