I have been a part of the Millarville Racing and Agriculture Society for the past 7 years as a volunteer, board member and now chairman of 2 events. Both of the events that I chair we strive to meet or exceed expectations and we believe as a young new committee that education surrounding the agricultural industry is important since this event wouldn’t be possible if the bright minds of our sponsors and surrounding community didn’t support as much as they already do. In honour of the people that made the rodeo possible we believe in bringing a new wave of ideas and staying true to our roots.
This was evident in 2017 as the Millarville Chuckwagon & Chariot committee and the Alberta Professional Chuckwagon & Chariot committee pulled together an amazing inagrural event in 6 weeks. The feed back from the community as well as the APCCA was fantastic and this year's event has been awarded to be the FINALS for the APCCA season.
