About the event

In partnership with Shelby County Sheriff Office, Shelby County Schools, City of Memphis Parks & Neighborhoods and The National Police Activities League, our mission is to provide juvenile crime prevention programs and empower our city’s youth through the various PAL curriculum offered to young people who do not have access to quality and affordable, yet positive out-of-school activities to include mentoring as well as educational assistance, discovery skills, intervention services, nutritional awareness and sports competitions during the most critical times, after-school and summer months.In 2021 we had our Inaugural Sneaker Ball Fundraising Gala is an end of the year recognition event that honors our scholars, athletes, staff, law enforcement, sponsors, and community volunteers. In addition to raising funds to help us expand and sustain our 6-Rock program, (6) youth, (4) volunteers and (1) business partner was spotlighted and awarded. Please know that we are thrilled to build upon the energy, excitement and participant engagement that this upcoming event has brought to the organization and the youth of Memphis PAL. Please know that our Board of Directors, “Sneaker Ball” Committees and Volunteers are meticulously at work planning for the most unforgettable event of the year and we are excitedly awaiting for its arrival.

So, with all of the excitement beginning to surround our Memphis PAL Organization and National PAL Association, I send you this year's sponsorship proposal seeking your engagement, support, and commitment. About Memphis PAL
Memphis PAL was founded by Sergeant Craig Littles, a 27-year veteran (retired) of the Memphis Police Department, who serves as Executive Director and Chief Visionary Officer.
Since 2017, the Sheriff’s & Police Activities League of Memphis & Shelby County, TN (Memphis PAL) has worked to help youth reach their full potential. Through a variety of sports and educational activities, the organization provides after-school and summer activities to youth throughout Memphis and Shelby County, Tennessee. In order to remedy the statistical juvenile success decline among youth in the Mid-South region, Littles formed a partnership with the National Police Activities League (NPAL) to create Memphis Shelby PAL (MSPAL) to foster the highest standards of excellence through active programming of community service, positive youth development and organized sports under the constructive influence of dedicated officers who serve as coaches, referees and mentors. Since that time, Memphis Shelby PAL has enrolled over 600 youth in the program and has registered over 200 volunteers around the city of Memphis.
