Marathon of Hope,

About the event

Kids in Action will lend our hands and hearts to any organization, club,

or cause that helps others in need, anywhere on the globe.

At our last Marathon of Hope 300 teens volunteered their time to serve their community.

We sorted and packaged donated clothing, made cards and videos for cancer patients, filled care

packages to be sent overseas, helped promote a charity on social media, created and decorated

300 school binders for girls in Haiti, and much, much more. The money we raised from the

event not only went to fund our own programs but we donated to the charities we helped as well.

We are inviting you to be a part of this monumental event so that together we can make a bigger

difference in the lives of others.

During the event all participants work collectively on one cause at a time. That would mean you

would have 300 people working for your charity for an hour or more. You design the activity

and provide materials and we provide the place, the manpower, and the enthusiasm!

Why should you sponsor?

“Marathon of Hope” is not a race!

We are not running, walking, or even dancing. Marathon of Hope is 15 hours of activities designed to

serve the community, both locally and globally. Kids in Action not only has its own service-oriented

activities at the event but will run activities on behalf of other non-profit organizations as well. We will

lend our hands and hearts to any organization that helps others in need, anywhere on the globe.

I, myself am a high school student who has the strong desire to make a worldwide, long-lasting impact. Over 20 high school students have gathered, under the supervision of two teachers, to create an event that allows the creators and participants to broaden their knowledge of the world and reach beyond the confines of our area. I am a student, that will soon pursuing a degree in Public Policy so that one day I could change the quality of life of people, a world away. Help me, and my colleagues to build a brighter future for people that once seemed beyond our reach.
