Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology is one of the premier Engineering Colleges in the Self-Financing category in Andhra Pradesh . MGIT is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. The students' chapter of ISTE at MGIT was established in 2003. All the students of MGIT are the members of the chapter. ISTE Students' Chapter-MGIT, working in line with the national policy, is actively conducting various technical ac-tivities over the years in collaboration with all the departments of the Institute. ISTE Chapter of MGIT has been adjudged as BEST ISTE CHAPTER for the year 2012. ISTE Students' Chapter of MGIT has sucessfully organised ISTE AP State Students' Convention-2016. MAGISTECH 2017 is the event organized by ISTE Students' Chapter - MGIT. The Symposium is aimed at providing a platform for the Engineering students to interact and share their ideas with other students across the country. The themes of Paper Presentation competition cover the entire spectrum of Engineering and Technology. The other events, the Poster Presentation, 'C' Crank, Circui'T'race, If Apps Were People, Circuit Synthesis, ThinkIt, Weld Your Words competitions are intend to hone the creativity of the future Engineers of the country.
