  • About the event

    The Made in China Experience is an event put together by singer China-Marie. This is a 10 city tour that will host a series of events. We'll be hosting an educational seminar about the music business(which will feature a panel of experienced industry executives), a networking mixer that features performances from China-Marie and 2 other mainstream artist, and a visit to the cities Boys and Girls Club. China-Marie is a champion member with the Metro LA Boys and Girls Club and is looking to expand her work with the organization on this tour. At each city China-Marie will stop at that cities Boys and Girls and talk with the kids and share her journey with them and tell them how important it is to follow your dream and offer some guidance and encouragement to these kids.

    The Made In China Experience Tour will follow up to her upcoming EP "Made in China" which is set to release February 16, 2018.

    Who is China-Marie

    Portland native CHINA-MARIE is certainly an artist to look out for this year. The free spirited “hippie” Neo-Soul inspired artist, backed by Too short began singing and song writing at the tender age of thirteen. Drawing most of her inspiration from the unfortunate grief due to the passing of her grandmother. How ever just a few years ago she began to turn her pain into success, taking the necessary steps towards moving forward in her career. With this came a huge leap of faith moving from her small town in Portland, Oregon to the big city of LA. During this time China certainly struggled sleeping in her car for a few weeks. While times were certainly tough for the rising star she always kept hope alive, eventually landing a job at LarraBee Studios. At Larrrbee, China was able to get a taste of what the music industry had to offer, becoming certain that creating music was her calling.

    While listening to China-Marie’s music I would describe her sound as soulful and sincere. Being sure to constantly relate to her audience, giving listeners the confidences to take risks and follow their dreams. 

    Why should you sponsor?

    This will be the first year of us hosting this event. And we need a few major sponsors to really make this a success. This event will offer the opportunity for aspiring young adults a chance to learn about the business from established industry executives.
