About the event
This race is open to the public to benefit Let Me Run - St. Louis, a nonprofit holistic health program that inspires boys through the power of running to be courageous enough to be themselves, to build healthy relationships, and to live an active lifestyle. The 5K is Let Me Run’s end-of-season race where the boys celebrate their emotional, social and physical growth.
Alongside the picturesque backdrop of the St. Louis skyline and the Mississippi River, runners start outside the GCS Ballpark and cross the finish line at home plate.

Why should you sponsor?
The goal of Let Me Run is to provide boys with critical experiences at a pivotal time of their development, so they acquire the confidence to be themselves, build healthy relationships, and live active lifestyles. Trained volunteer coaches conduct Let Me Run twice a week over a seven-week season. Each after-school session includes a supervised run, lessons, and fun activities that encourage boys to build confidence, develop integrity, and socially interact in positive ways. Each seven-week season culminates with a 5K race to celebrate the success of each boy’s accomplishments in the program.
As a sponsor for the Let Me Run Grand Slam 5K, you will be helping to make it possible for us to inspire boys in 4th-8th grades to be their best, support others, and live healthy, active lifestyles.
Let Me Run - St. Louis serves boys from cities and counties across the St. Louis metropolitan area: St. Louis City, and St. Louis, Jefferson, Franklin, St. Charles, Lincoln, and Warren Counties in Missouri and St. Clair, Madison, Jersey, Monroe, and Clinton Counties in Illinois.
In the Spring season, you will gain access to 250 Let Me Run program participants and their families, over 50 volunteer coaches, and community runners from across the metropolitan St. Louis area. Website, social media, and email promotions will include over 1,000 past participants and coaches.
