About the event

Loudoun Douglass Alumni Association (LDAA) is a 501©3 organization founded in 1985. Our primary goal is to promote higher education and encourage the descendants of Douglass High School to strive for educational excellence. Throughout the year, we host several fundraisers which affords the Alumni Association the ability to award 8 scholarships, at a minimum, valued at one thousand dollars each.

To support our goal, each year the Association organizes a golf tournament with proceeds going to support our scholarship fund. We hope that you or your company will consider becoming a sponsor for the Loudoun Douglass Alumni Annual Golf Tournament. 

This year, our annual tournament will be held at the 1757 Golf Club in Ashburn, VA, Friday August 11, 2017.  Registration will begin at 7:00 am with a 9:00 am Shotgun start.

Why should you sponsor?

As you may know, each year the Association organizes a golf tournament with proceeds going to the Scholarship Fund to support continuing education for the descendants of Douglass High School.  Our goal is to award a minimum of 8 scholarships valued at $1,000.00 each.

Valerie Bush

My name is Valerie Bush and I am the Treasuer of the Loudoun/Douglass Association.  What I bring to this organization is my work ethic and trust as I hold a top secret security clesance and support the federal government. I also have a wealth of knoledge in the finance and accountung field.  As a descendant of an alumni from this high school, my goal is to assist in raising money to help young adults  further their education.
