Sriram Engineering College, a constituent institution of Sriram Educational Trust established in 1993, is making great strides in achieving excellence in technical education since inception.        DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL ENGINEERING

The Department of Civil Engineering was started in the academic year 2015-16 with an aim of promoting high quality education in the field of Civil Engineering. The department has well equipped laboratory facilities and highly qualified faculty members having rich experience in teaching and industrial background. The department is aiming to transform itself into a center of excellence in academic and research. The department provides a right kind of environment for the students to groom themselves for innovative and challenging near future.

The department currently offers Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree programe in Civil Engineering following the Anna University curriculum. The curriculum broadly covers the engineering subjects of related fields such as Surveying, Building materials & construction, Soil mechanics & Foundation engineering, Structural analysis & design, Hydraulics & Water resources engineering, Environmental engineering, Transportation and Coastal engineering.

 We invite you to participate in what promises to be a thought-provoking, exhilarating, and reflective day in our intellectual, creative, and community life.

The Sriram Engineering College Student Symposium provides a venue in which students may present their scholarly and creative work. The symposium encourages wide community participation and attendance. It has become an annual event and an important part of the Sriram experience. 

This is the national level symposium conducted by the aspiring students of civil engineering.
