Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) not only aims at boosting the academic skills within its student fraternity but also strives to provide a platform to showcase every individual’s co-curricular talents in various fields of sports, culture & literature. For this purpose it holds annually it’s cultural fest `Kaltarang’ that involves participation from not only the host college but the other colleges as well from all over India. It is a forum where healthy inter-college interaction is carried out. Kaltarang was born in 2011. Though now, it possesses a great role in encouraging students to perform and explore the ‘much’ or ‘hidden’ within them. Kaltarang’17 was a blast! It was a three day affair. The theme was ‘The Tinseltown Times’. In a nutshell, Kaltarang’17 was a full-fledged success, thanks to every individual involved! It’s a new year now. We welcome Kaltarang’20 with all new surprises to be unlocked & much more to reveal. Lots of cultural events, literary events, fine arts, cyber gaming, sports and some intriguing informal events had taken Kaltarang to a new high this year. The major highlights of the fest being Rock Band Performance, Fashion show,EDM night and The Celebrity Night. These are the most awaited events of the fest that will take the crowd to another level and make the show livelier. Over a time of seven years , kaltarang has came out to be known for its consecutive exciting exhibitions, perfect association of occassions and stunning star performance and immersive casual events . “Kaltarang” 2020 to be held from 20th march to 22th march , which over the years has developed as one of the greatest celebration of its kind in India. Kaltarang is an open sesame to a whole gamut of events. It is the most unique kaleidoscope of events for all personalities in you. A huge number of undergraduates from everywhere throughout the nation take an interest in this cultural spectacle consistently and simultaneously learn , enhance as planned entertainers and leave with new relations and companionship to be esteemed for eternity.
