About the event

Allow me to introduce to you Jewels Kids Camp.

Camp Jewels Kids  is a 7 days residential camp for children age 9 – 14. The children will discover their strengths as they explore arts, team building and social wellness.

Our mission is to bring diverse group of children together to explore creativity, knowledge and stewardship through mentor based workshops. Camp Jewels Kids provide opportunities’ for children to work directly with professionals of various industries, coaches and community leaders in the children upbringing fields.

Trained mentors and educators build a safe, inclusive, supportive community, creating a place to share, laugh and grow. Lifelong friendship is nurtured and the joy of being a girl or a boy is celebrated.

• all children at the camp are matched up with caring adults to achieve stability at home and any enviroment.

Lydiah Opwaka

My name is Lydiah Opwaka 38yrs old, born and raised in Kenya.

I am a born again Christian lady confessing Christ as my Lord and Savior. 

I am result oriented with the aim of improving lives. i have worked with children since i myself i was 23yrs old and every time i see a child smile and turn out to be an outstanding citizen i feel fulfilled.

my passion for children and event organising gets me going to achieve something new every season. last year we were able to host atleast that 17 children and the majority missed out because of financial strain the parents had, this really broke my heart and i had to ask myself what do i need to do to get all the children interested to attend the camp. 

i appeal to you my sponsor to help me achieve the dream of each and every child that has desired to be part of the camp. help me put a smile and give a Christmas gift to a child. a gift called "JEWELS KIDS CAMP"
