About the event
We all know how far the world of technology is from gender equality. With women making up more than half of the US workforce, they make less than 20% of the United States tech jobs, with only 5% of the startups owned by women.
To tackle this and create a change, we launched the first edition of International Women's Hackathon in 2015. In the 5th edition, we are shifting our focus to highlighting the strengths of women tech makers rather than pointing their weaknesses. This hackathon aims to usher in a new era of women-led innovation.
