About the event
The evening will serve as our award ceremony, which includes dinner and dessert. We will be honoring community stakeholders, community leaders, public servants and emergency responders, and international leaders. Some of the prestigious awards to be given are: The International Peace Medal, The Chief Lou Cannon Medal (Founders Award), and the Congresswoman Barbara C. Jordan Award. The late Chief Lou Cannon is the founder of National Police Week in Washington, DC that draws thousands of law enforcement officers, support staff, and family from around the world.
