  • About the event

    Following our successful races in Atlanta this year on Super Bowl Sunday weekend Friday, Feb 1 and June 2nd where we donated proceeds (over 20K) from the races to Back On My Feet, we will be hosting another race on Friday, August 30 to give hope to the remaining members in Back On My Feet by closing out the year of events in Atlanta to push for a major donation towards the transportation costs to get members to work and increase the job training and financial literacy.  Additionally with the amount of runners that we expect to round out the Labor Day weekend, we wish to provide some health and fitness, financial literacy, and healthcare products and tips for their benefit as well. The  Atlanta Council District 6 Councilwoman is co-sponsoring the walk/run to advance awareness and provide proceeds to local initiatives focused on the prevention of homelessness. 

    Why should you sponsor?

    We hold 3 races in Atlanta and annual races in Baltimore, Los Angeles, Oakland and Philadelphia.  We provide race packets with products and flyers from each one of our sponsors to benefit their well being as well as raise awareness of socio-political issues.  All sponsors get a social media blast and email blast to all race participants about the products/services that are offered by the sponsor up to 6 months after the race has completed.  This is not only exposure on the race day, tee-shirt, and social media but consistent messages to the participants beyond the race day.

    We also have a niche running base in each of the locations mentioned.  With 500 - 1000 runner database per locale, we can ensure your product is broadcasted appropriately to the right individuals - given you maximum exposure beyond an event.

    I have organized all these events successfully with timing companies that ensur the participants are getting what is expected out of a race.  I ensure the timeliness of all email blasts and social media posts with our marketing team within the guidelines of each contract.  I am meticulous with the details of the contract to ensure each sponsor is getting what is paid for with regards to exposure.
