  • About the event

The HBCU Business Expo will serve as a platform for black businesses to showcase and sell their product to consumers and also network with other black business owners. The expo will be held in the nations capital, Washington, D.C on September 10th, 2016. The event will highlight the importance of Black ownership and networking within our communities.

The HBCU Business Expo will feature a series of workshops geared towards entrepreneurship, networking and business stability. In addition, the expo will feature a panel that consists of some of the most successful black business owners and entrepreneurs of our time.

    Why should you sponsor?

Our sponsorship request should be considered because there is no other event like this in the world. There is no place you can go and see African American entrepreneurs of all ages networking and selling products and services. Also right next-door people will take part in intimate workshops taught by notable African American business executives who were once in the same place as them. Even beyond that, the expo will also feature a celebrity panel full of notable millionaires that will be giving advice and guidance to everyone in attendance.

The HBCU Business Expo team is confident that this event is the perfect candidate to receive sponsorship. The staff and I have a very strong background in event planning, successfully completing over 60 events in the Washington DC area over the past 6 years. We are a very trusted source for an amazing event. We are positive that this event will be successful and will change the lives of everyone in attendance.

Corey Arvinger is a 24 year old marketing and branding specialist who also serves as the creator of the HBCU Business Expo. Mr. Arvinger has over 50,000 combined followers on all of his social media accounts and decided to use his platform for positive. Mr. Arvinger created the concept of the expo, while critiquing his portfolio with my colleague and co-creator Taylor Mitchell.

“All you hear about in today’s news is police brutality and negative things about minorities. I wanted to create an outlet where African Americans who are doing positive things with their own businesses could be showcased.”
