About the event

Hello and welcome to Hawgfest!

I would like to personally invite you to be a part of one of the biggest motorcycle rallies in New Mexico. Established over a decade ago, Hawgfest made its name by offering an event like no other. Live entertainment, the coolest motorcycles, games, rides and just an all-around great time; these were the principles of the Hawgfest’s of old. The beginnings were humble, but it grew bigger than anyone ever thought and became one of the premier rallies of the summer.

What makes Hawgfest great? Family, friends and amazing entertainment for the communities of SE New Mexico and West Texas. We are coming back in 2019 bigger than ever before, with the core values that originally made this a fantastic event at the forefront.  We are calling it the “The New Ride” because that is exactly what it is; a festival of epic proportions. It is going to be everything you ever expected from Hawgfest... and MORE! Family, Food, Fun, Live Music on 3 Stages, Vendors, Celebrity Guests; we have a lot in the works for this event.

This year, we wanted to ensure this event was a success, so we made a move that was unprecedented with Hawgfest's of old; we made the event FREE to the public. This is a huge undertaking with a rally/festival of this size, but we made up our minds, so that’s is exactly what we are going to do! How are we doing this? We are teaming with great sponsor companies who share our sense of community betterment.

Curtis McKinney

My name is Curtis McKinney and I have been producing concert events for 15 years. I operate the Walter Gerrells Performing Arts Center in Carlsbad, NM and I am also the Host of the nationally syndicated radio program Cranked Up Country Radio. I own MSL Productions, LLC with offices in Honolulu, HI and Carlsbad, NM.
