About the event
The Green and White Gala is an annual event, and is a collegiate ballroom dance competition hosted by the Michigan State University Ballroom Dance Team. This competition welcomes dancers from schools across the Midwest, and allows competitors to compete in the four styles of ballroom dance: Smooth, Standard, Rhythm, and Latin. The purpose of this event is to allow dancers to showcase their talents at a variety of levels (newcomer up to champion), and meet students from other schoolss who are also passisonate about ballroom dance.
Why should you sponsor?
The Green and White Gala is a very unique event, and attracts people from a variety of backgrounds, professions, and interests. In return for sponsorship at one of our three levels (Bronze = $100, Silver = $300, Gold = $500), sponsors' logos will be displayed in a program handed out to all competitiors and attendees, as well as on the back of shirts given to all dancers who attend. Sponsorship for the Green and White Gala is a great way to support the arts and promote the sport of ballroom dancing.
Taylor KuminskiMy name is Taylor Kuminski, and I a senior Animal Science student at Michigan State University, as well as the Vice President of the Michigan State Ballroom Dance Team. I have been ballroom dancing for three years, and am currently in my 17th year of dancing overall. As Vice President, my main job is to plan and coordinate the Green and White Gala, a large ballroom dance competition that costs between 13 and 15 thousand dollars to put on. This club has meant so much to me throughout my college career, and I would love to talk to any sponsors interested in helping us make the 2019 Green and White Gala a succes! Thank you!
