About the event

Glow Gardens is one of Canada's largest indoor Christmas events. Glow runs for five weeks at the Edmonton Expo Center in Hallc  B & C and is over 100,000 sq ft. Glow guests will enjoy a next level holiday experience. Explore lighted trails that lead to uniquely lit structures, while you stroll under 1 million twinkly lights, enjoyed local entertainment, incredible food,  visits with Santa and shopping for a unique gift from our local artisans Merry Makers Market. Create beautiful memories with your family in our lite up backgrounds, selfie walls and illusion booths. Each year we have a different theme.

Why should you sponsor?

Huge exposure to over 100,000 people who attend the Glow Gardens event and a marketing team that specializes in large events. Our focus is on Christmas and families making incredible memories. We do massive marketing campaign through tv, radio, social media, billboards, and print during the entire show. Glow Gardens is open from November 18th - January 3rd. We also have partnered with large charity foundations including Stars Air Ambulance and Ronald McDonald House to help raise money.

Shannon Van Norman

Shannon Van Norman has been an Event Planner, Manager, and Coordinator for more than 20 years. Her current position is the Owner and Manager of Glow Gardens Christmas Show in Edmonton, Alberta. Glow Gardens has been hugely successful in Edmonton and going into its third season. Last season she planned and managed the Edmonton and Saskatoon locations for Glow. Prior to Glow, she was the Convention and Special Events Coordinator for SCM Insurance Services; a position she held for nine years. SCM has seven companies operating under the SCM banner, for which she was responsible. In her work with SCM’s Marketing Team, she oversaw large projects, coordinated events, conventions, seminars and was responsible for promotional products to include choosing, ordering, branding, and distribution. Shannon has organized several National Specialty Dog Shows and dog related seminars for up to 300 people in attendance as well as several successful fundraisers. She lives in Edmonton, Alberta with her husband and enjoys spending her spare time with her children and her dogs.
