Pan-African Robotics Competition

  • About the event

Pan-African Robotics Competition (PARC) allows middle school, high school and university students from around the continent to compete in robotics. Participating students have a unique opportunity to learn how to use science and technology to find innovative solutions to societal

    problems.

Ghana Robotics Competition hosted by Firefly IO is a national PARC that brings together students 150 plus from all over the country for a 12 days robotics competition themed on a real-world topic relevant to science and the sustainable development of the nation. The winners of GRC will

    participate in PARC in July.

In addition to the Ghana Robotics Competition, there is a youth forum that serves as an opportunity for students to discuss topics that are relevant to their education and aspirations. The GRC 2023 Youth Forum will include student-panel discussions, special presentations from youth innovators, and a chance for the youth to share their talents with each

other. The GRC Youth Forum is an opportunity for students to make their voices heard.

    Why should you sponsor?

Through the Ghana Robotics Competition (GRC), students collaborate to think critically and apply theoretical knowledge of Math and Science in building and programming purposeful robots. It is vital that the youth is able to explore the field of STEM on springboards such as the Ghana Robotics Competition, as you may be aware of the immense power STEM holds to positively impact communities.

we are seeking sponsorship  in order to provide this opportunity to students in both urban and rural areas.
