Get HIPP About Your Health – Women’s Conference 2017 will empower women to be Hopeful, Informed, Prayerful and Proactive concerning their health and well-being, learning how to live life healthy, on purpose.

We have three inspiring speakers to inform and motivate our ladies to be proactive about using natural foods and remedies, learn strategies to living healthier lifestyles and staying fitness in order to eliminate, significantly reduce, effectively manage and prevent common female reproductive diseases and conditions, like fibroids, cancer, endometriosis, infertility, painful menstrual cycles, miscarriages and much more.

Why do HIPP About Health

All the members of our HIPP Team have either been sufferers themselves, or have had to watch their loved-ones suffer, or perish at the hands of a female reproductive disease or condition. These diseases not only harshly affect the sufferer, but has significant impact their family and is costing the NHS billions of pounds a year, catering for these women’s care.

Roughly 55,000 hysterectomies are performed in the UK every year. Between 30,000 and 40,000 of these take place in the NHS. Globally, 1.2 million women can expect to undergo this form of surgery for reasons that range from heavy periods, fibroids, endometriosis, prolapse, cancer and postpartum haemorrhage, while fibroids and cancer account for over 70% of all cases. Each hysterectomy costs the NHS over £2,900 per patient for the surgery alone, not including the billions in lost workforce.

Most of these diseases can be eliminated, reduced, better managed or prevented with effective healthy lifestyles. The HIPP Team is passionate about bringing awareness to these diseases and offering women around the country, support and encouragement, while effecting a turnaround of the statistics. Almost 90% of women are the decision makers in their homes with regards to food, so empowering them to make better choices inevitably impacts their families, their communities then transforming the nation.

Media Impact

• Article and ¼ page advert in the Keep the Faith magazine – a magazine distributed to over 3000+ churches across the UK and selected leading supermarkets. It has a circulation of 30,000 and readership of 150,000. – in negotiation
• Premier Gospel Radio – the UK’s leading producer of multimedia Christian content. We reach nearly 2 million people each month with our products and services which include two radio stations, three magazines, digital content and a national Christian helpline. – in negotiation
• Several TV and radio show guest appearances are being arranged for our spokesperson and guest speakers – to be confirmed

Internet Advertising

Social Media – We have developed an intensive social media campaign which also involved our church and ministry partners sharing and tweeting our Facebook Page and Event, tweeting our Twitter account @hippabouthealth, creating a high trending with the #HIPPaboutHealth.

Email Newsletter – Our team is made up of Church leaders, ministers and business owners, making available a database of over 50000 subscribers. Email newsletters will be distributed on a weekly basis to not only promote the event, but also share health tips and information in the lead up to the event.

Printed Media – We are preparing to print 5000 flyers to be distributed through our church networks, in local shops, community projects, etc.

The HIPP organisers will be visiting church in their local areas to do promotions and advertising to the congregations.

We are estimating our advertising reach to be approximately 180,000 women. Our promotion activities continue after the event to the run up to HIPP About Mental Health in September 2017.

Denise Parris

Denise Parris, co-founding director of the Together in Ministry Network, and the Event Director for the HIPP About Your Health conference, had her own challenges with fibroids and infertility, and while Denise lost her womb in this fight, it became clear to her that others that find themselves in similar conditions should have more support and more choices they can explore, when making decisions to improve their quality of life. 

So Denise Parris on her mission to find solutions to empower women, strategically gathered a large group of influential and professional women from several different churches and organisations together, to form the Get HIPP about Your Health Team. Together their expertise cover Nutritionists, Holist Chef, TV Show Hosts, Fitness Coaches, Church Leaders, Teachers, Counsellors, Nurses, IT Specialists, Event Organisers and Project Managers, and Mothers, Sisters, Daughters and Wives.

Together, they are forge a movement to empower women around the nation to be HIPP about their Health.
