  • About the event

The Georgia Spartans, Commissioner Stephanie Gordon of City of East Point. We saw a need to host
a health expo that focuses on educating the local community about health and
fitness – while providing free onsite health screenings.

According to research, a number of citizens opt out to not receive preventive
healthcare due to the high costs of medical services and insurance premiums.
A lot of the preventive services that are offered, can assist with identifying
chronical illnesses in the earlier stages – thus allowing a person to seek the
medical attention that is needed in a timely manner. Think of how many lives
that can be saved or illnesses properly managed if a person has the available
resources to at least obtain the proper preventive healthcare services.

All partnering organizations value family and community wellness, which will be the driving
force of all family fun activities and entertainment to take place at this
community event. This event also has a celebrity basketball game, dunk contest, prizes, vendors, performances and much more all free to the public. We are also free haircuts for kids and free eye screenings and glass for kids. Kids must be registered.

    Why should you sponsor?

It is our pleasure to invite you to join us as a community sponsor and make this year to raise awareness about the importance of maintaining one’s health and raise awareness to help the community. Joining forces as one unit, the Georgia Spartans and the city officials of Dekalb County,,Fulton County ,City of East Point and City Of South Fulton. We saw a need to host a health expos in these communities that focuses on educating the local community about health and fitness – while providing free onsite health screenings. All partnering organizations value family and community oneness, which will be the driving force of all family fun activities and entertainment to take place at these community events. We would love your organization to come out and be a sponsor for this event.
