About the event
It's an empowering transformational haven where faith, business, fashion, civic engagement, and music collide! Dynamic companies from the Tri-State Area will be on hand to share and engage with the audience on empowerment through art, music, business, fitness and so much more! As a prelude to the event, there will be a silent auction for The Little Survivors Mini Camp which will be held in New York City and Los Angeles this summer. The Little Survivors Mini Camp supports children who have experienced grief or loss. Live music, panel discussions and so much more! As a finale, there will be an exclusive soft launch of the Definition Collection by Funlayo Grace. We'll see you there!

Jennifer JenningsOur CEO and designer, Jennifer Grace Jennings, has empowered individuals through events and fashion for over 15 years. She began event planning in Myrtle Beach and began working as a planner for the Marriott Grande Dunes Spa and Resort in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. She has styled news anchors, beauty pageant winners and sports figures. She has worked with charitable organizations such as the Make a Wish Foundation and The Salvation Army. She's produced events and runway shows from New York to the Carolinas for individuals and organizations such as Dillards Department Store, Anthropolgie and NYC Parks & Recreation. Jennifer opened her first store Grace Be Unto You and launched her clothing line Funlayo Grace at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. After moving to New York in 2011, Jennifer renamed her company Funlayo Grace, merging her event planning, inspirational talks and ready to wear collection.
She studied Business, Management and Economics at Empire St College and currently works in Public Programs for the City of New York. While working for the city, Jennifer created several NYC programs and initiatives including the empowering NYC Parks Fitness Challenge 2014. Over 50,000 individuals participated in this initiative through, schools, univerisities, community organizations, churches and hospitals across the five boroughs (Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, Manhattan and Staten Island).
Jennifer’s vision to empower, design, manufacture and distribute here in the US has been met with several obstacles. Through implementing the Funlayo Grace Redesign Treatment in her own life, Jennifer has been able to maintain vision and sustain steady growth. Jennifer has welcomed opportunities to empower communities while being courageous enough to turn down numerous offers that did not fit within the company’s ideals and the client's values. Funlayo Grace is looking to expand and is looking for a space to eventually call home. At Funlayo Grace we design, manufacture and distribute apparel and home décor right here in the US. We are hosting our Funlayo Grace Testament Experience at the Hilton Newark Airport on Saturday March 31st 4 pm – 7 pm. Please join us at the soft launch of our apparel and home décor collection.
Our efforts will not reach their maximum effectiveness unless we have the backing of amazing individuals who believe in empowerment and the transformational impact it has on one's life like we do.
