Krystal Brooks

Krystal Brooks is an experienced Business School and programming professional working to support and empower women to achieve their goals. She is currently Director of College and PreMBA Programs for the Forté Foundation, an action oriented non-profit consortium of leading companies and top business schools working together to launch women into fulfilling, significant careers through access to business education, opportunities, and a community of successful women. Krystal is the program director for Forté MBALaunch, a 10-month MBA preparatory program for women, a suite of 13 Forté Forums, multi-school recruitment fairs, and Forté Rising Stars, a virtual career readiness program for college women.

Krystal also has nine years of MBA admissions experience cultivated in varying roles at Carnegie Mellon's Tepper School of Business, most recently as Director of Masters Admissions. She was the primary point for all women's recruitment activities, including the launch of the Tepper School's first women's recruiting workshop and visit days specifically for promising pre-MBA women.

Krystal earned an MA in Student Affairs and Higher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Finance and Music from Lycoming College. She lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with her husband, two children, and overly active Shih Tzu. She enjoys music and the arts and has been a member of several choirs in and around Pittsburgh.
