About the event
The Scottish Highland's premier pop culture festival returns on 30th September 2017 at the Nevis Centre, Fort William from 9am - 6pm and now being run by a volunteer team on a not-for-profit basis which is great news for the event.
There's going to be more things to do, more attractions, more guests, more fun and the event will be also fundraiser for the Nevis Centre (the venue).Fort Con is a comic con style of of event focusing on bringing pop culture to the Highlands and a massive creative outlet for the region.
We would love to have some sponsorship support for the event and can offer some outstanding promotional and marketing packages for you.

Fort Con 1 - main stats:
1304 in attendance
77% of tickets came from the Highland region
20% of tickets from Glasgow and Edinburgh
3% from England and the EU
150,000 approx website reach in the two months that followed
78,000 approx social media reach included virals and mentions
312 accommodation nights over the weekend
£6600 spent on promotion and marketing
£62,000 approx addition to the local economy for the event weekend
A positive word of mouth was spread by celebrities on their own websites and media accounts regarding not just Fort Con but the area and town of Fort William itself.
Fort Con 2 is estimated to reach much higher levels of tickets sold from further afield and have a much higher attendance. The level of interest on Fort Con 2 is much higher this year and as such provides a good level of return on sponsorship.
Ben BeltonThe new volunteer association running the event this year is on a not-for-profit basis which means the more tickets we sell and more sponsorship we get, the better we can make the event and the more people will have access to and see the marketing efforts we put in for our sponsors.
Fort Con is growing in size and becoming mroe known in the region and as such, now is a perfect time to get in on the funding of the event.
