Danielle Vincent

Danielle Vincent is the founder and producer of First Festival. If you've ever talked to anyone involved with First Fest-- it's was probably her. What does it take to run a huge music festival funded by ticket sales only? A whole lot of multi-tasking and hard work. Danielle does all graphics, builds and updates the website, books bands, contracts bands, runs all the social media, processes tickets, handles vendors, books media spots, and so much more. She's looking forward to year 3 where she's partnered with some great people and organizations to create a collaborative event that showcases Sacramento. "Collaboration is the key to making year three the best that it can be. Danielle currently holds a Bachelors degree in Philosophy with a concentration in Ethics from Sacramento State University. In 2011 she began her involvement in the community when she founded a community outreach organization called Shoes & Sandwiches. S&S provided clothing, shoes, food, and hygiene products to the local homeless community on a monthly basis. In 2012 she opened Firefly, a local clothing store that provided funding for the S&S. Community outreach has always been an integral part of Danielle's life. In 2015 she founded First Festival in order to draw attention to the local music and arts scene. She has passion and drive that rival most and the wherewithal to make a lasting impression on the region.
