Dega misfits supporting our vets Fun raiser,

Talladega Superspeedway, Lincoln, Alabama, United States Talladega Superspeedway, Lincoln, Alabama, United States

  • About the event

First and foremost, this is a Nascar race venue so we are not your typical tailgaters this is Talladega. We usally spend about a week at the speedway.  We are located in southpark reserved camping, which is in the middle of turn one of the track and free camping. We have been doing this in the same spot for 8 years now , our parties have seen up to 200 to 300 people at one time at our spot. Where our spot is located we see foottraffic up to 2000 people per day. Our family friendly atomsphere and welcoming attitudes, and location guarantee a very visible / attractive group for potential sponsors. Surounding us are several other families that have become our friends and "good neighbors" - everyone roams about from camper to camper. Our specific campsite is notable for our location and ability to garner sponsors. A description for this specific event follows:

We host a large (40 people minimum) family friendly party and charity drive for Three Hots and Cot, a birmingham based charity that helps veterans get off the streets and learn to lead a normal life. We do all this through cookouts, dancing ,good music,  cornhole tournaments, telling stories around bonfires with people from across the U.S.  Any of the sponsorship packages can be cash or in kind. We are flexible depending on sponsors.

    Why should you sponsor?

To help us grow so that we can bring more awareness to helping veterans get off the street and lead a normal life. We are trying  to grow so that we can serve those that have served us.

I am a hardworking truck driver that grew up in a military family. I believe that they deserve our respect and to live a normal life. The charity organization Three Hots and Cot is a 501c nonprofit that helps get vets off the street . We are trying to raise awareness for this group and also help collect nonperishables for them.
