Comedy For Compassion,

About the event

Comedy For Compassion will be a family-friendly event in which members of The Sanctuary will purchase a ticket for each person attending. Each ticket will include entry, a meal, entry for a drawing, and more. Members of The Sanctuary Church will also be telling their favorite jokes on stage. 100% of the proceeds given and raised will be presented to Compassion Ministry, a nonprofit Ministry founded by The Sanctuary to help those in need in the Perris community. 

Why should you sponsor?

How many homeless men and women and children do you come across on the streets of our cities every day? Even if you try not to notice, they are there. They are surviving, they are hopeless, they need hope. I am hoping with what I receive I can help take them off of the cold streets and into homes or even give them a warm homecooked meal, maybe a clean change of clothes. By causing smiles at Comedy For Compassion we are going to give smiles to the people of Perris, California who really need it. If you are only wanting to sponsor to gain reputation in the community please don't sponsor, but if you want to really make a definition in the world, we need YOU.

I am only a humble student who wishes to better my community. I attend school at Santa Rosa Academy. I am 16 years old but for anything legal, I do have a legal guardian who can handle those things. My school has a difference from most schools. They care about the community and the morals of their students. This is why they have the students complete Community Service projects. They do this to teach the students that we must give back to our community in order to better this amazing world that we've been blessed with. My project is Comedy For Compassion.
