CJS Fundraiser,

Contemporary Jewish Museum, San Francisco, California, United States Contemporary Jewish Museum, San Francisco, California, United States

  • About the event

Seniors are one of the most neglected and forgotten populations in our city. They are easy to overlook and it's hard to care about their needs unless you are directly involved in a senior's life.

Community for Jewish Seniors (CJS) is a non-profit organization which provides engaging programs and free holiday gift bags for seniors living in San Francisco. We have been around for 8 years, and often provide our services free of charge.

On May 3, we are hosting a fundraising event with the goal of raising $15,000. This will allow us to increase our programmatic offering and service more seniors in need.

    Why should you sponsor?

    • JOIN THE MOVEMENT to change lives and make a real impact for lonely seniors.

    • GIVE BACK to your community by helping those who need it most.

    • INCREASE your brand exposure and elevate your corporate identity within the community.

    • STRENGTHEN your company’s reputation as a good corporate citizen to your customers, employees and local residents.

    Bella Ben-Shach

My name is Bella Ben-Shach and I am the Program Coordinator at CJS. I have been with the organization for 1.5 years. I manage our calendar of activities, have onboarded new facility partners, and created new and engaging programs for seniors (including an inter-generational music class). It is a priviledge to see how big of a difference our programs make - sometimes we are the only programatic offering/visitors in these seniors' lives.
