Our club is dedicated to helping our community and has planned at 24-hour Service Day event on October 27th 6pm to October 28th 6pm. The event will have 8 consecutive service projects each lasting 3 hours. The goal is to give students an opportunity to give back to a community that has been so giving to them.
One of the projects that we would like your support for is the walk/run. We will be asking volunteers to use the free app called Charity Miles that donates money to various charities for each mile achieved. For the volunteers that do not have access to the app, we are asking businesses, like yourself, to contribute an amount per mile walked. If you are willing to donate, we are leaving the contribution amount up to you. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. The charity we will be donating to will be Grant County Humane Society.
