Camp Candyland,

Chicago, Illinois, United States Chicago, Illinois, United States

  • About the event

Chicago's most vibrant creatives gathering together to celebrate the women and non-binary artists making moves in the Chicago art scene. This includes fashion designers, muscians, sculptors, performance artists, and more.

This will be the second major celebration produced by all women and non-binary people, presenting all women and non-binary artists in Chicago.

    Why should you sponsor?

Now more than ever, companies with financial stability need to support women-owned businesses and artists. Your support helps us employ women and non-binary audio engineers, lighting designers, installation artists, marketing personnel, and musicians. Ending the gender gap in the music industry starts with making sure women are getting paid for their work.

Last year marked the first Candyland extravaganza, and with NO financial sponsors we were able to sell out at 300-person capacity. Check out our recap video above for a glimpse at all the fun! With a budget to curate even bigger artists at a larger venue, we know we can accomplish even greater justice on behalf of the gender gap.

We are honored to have been featured in the Chicago Tribune, ANCHR Magazine, These Days, Third Coast Review, and Layered Souls Magazine. As a sponsor, your name will be featured right alongside us!

Previous Sponsors: Begyle Brewing, Jolly Pumpkin Brewing, Dark Matter Coffee, and Bang Bang Pie.

Candyland Chicago was created in the cold Chicago winter of 2017 by two women who felt frustrated by the lack of gender representation at concerts, festivals, and award shows. Coming from a statistically male-dominated industry, we took it upon ourselves to create space for the brilliant women and non-binary artists making waves in Chicago, thereby creating the first Candyland in February 2018.

We took a leap of faith, worked our butts off and by the time February rolled around it paid off. We sold out a venue with 300 of Chicago’s most vibrant creatives gathering together to celebrate some of the best women and non-binary artists in Chicago.

We want to continue to make Candyland Chicago bigger and better, eventually taking it on the road to showcase the best women and non-binary artists making waves in cities across America.

Join us as we change the music industry one party at a time.
