Valot Martial Arts is delighted to be hosting the Buckeye Championships this fall. Martial arts competitors will be attending from several surrounding states. Last year's event totaled more than 400 in attendance, and we expect a continued increase in both competitors and spectators. We are also excited to honor our military through a special presentation at this event.
The Buckeye Championship is sanctioned by the Global Hapkido Association (GHA) which is the largest Hapkido association in the world. Grand Master Lee of the GHA will be in attendance. One goal of the GHA is to have Hapkido introduced into the Olympics.
We need the help of businesses like your to make this event a huge success. Your donation helps bring national attention to our great city, and lets people know your buiness is involved in the community. For those of you who have sponsored, attended, and donated to Valor events in the past, we thank you again and hope you continue to support our endeavor to make a difference in the lives of kids in the Dayton area.
My husband, Scott Schwab, and I are the owners of Valor Martial Arts and are hosting the Buckeye Championships this year. Our goal is to instill confidence, respect, discipline and leadership in a fun, family-friendly environment. I hold a fourth dan rank in tae kwon do and hapkido. My husband holds a 7th dan rank in tae kwon do, hapkido, and judo. We want to make a difference in the lives of children and families in our communities.
