About the event
I hope this finds you well! My name is Nimish Garg, and I serve as the Secretary-General for the Fifth Boston University Academy Model UN Conference (BUAMUN V), which will be held from January 28-29, 2017. This is a conference run by high schoolers whose mission is to foster an interest in diplomacy for middle school children and encourage them to engage in the world around them. The conference fosters competitive discussion and debate of pertinent world issues, and we are proud to host students from middle schools around the country.
To support our mission, we are requesting donations to cover conference fees such as rent, materials, and food for 350 students. Our website www.buamun.org has information on our topics of discussion and conference structure. If you have any specific questions, please feel free to contact me via email. We would greatly appreciate if you could help the next generation of high schoolers and middle schoolers grow and be ready for the world that awaits them!
Why should you sponsor?
In return for your kind donation, we could offer to hand out pamphlets to our staff and delegates, have a representative from your organization speak to our team, and/or put ads and supporting materials on our website, which has over 2000 page views weekly. We have delegates coming from all over the country. We look forward to hearing more about your programs!

Nimish GargI am Nimish Garg, the Secretary-General for the Fifth Boston University Academy Model UN Conference (BUAMUN V). I am a junior at BU Academy, which has a mission statement: Engaging with dedicated teachers in a small and caring community, students first immerse themselves in a classically based curriculum and then continue to expand their intellectual interests at Boston University, a major research institution.
