About Blokepedia

Blokepedia was started in January 2017 by Josh Quarmby with the aim of getting men talking about issues that affect them, from mental and physical health through to relationships.  What originally started as a simple blog site is now growing into a unique mix of online and face to face resources for men. This growth is driven by insight and feedback from the Blokepedia audience: the many men are looking for a way to connect with other men to share their stories and begin important conversations and provide support for each other.

To create a community of caring and supportive men who are encouraged to openly and honestly discuss issues they care about and that affect them. 

Our Mission 

To facilitate and enable the exploration, as a community, of what it means to be a man in today's society and to promote a holistic approach to overall health and wellbeing services for men.

Sharing stories of interest from everyday people across our 3 key categories of health, lifestyle and relationships.

Strategic Goals

• Establish events and activities that have the simple goal of having men connect and share their stories with each other.
• Enabling the community to share articles and stories on the Blokepedia website and social media channels on our three key categories of male health, lifestyle and relationships.
• Establish and grow a membership-based online community / forum which will give Blokepedia participants the opportunity to have discussions in a private and secure environment at any time of day.
