    Why should you sponsor?

The Black Heritage Gala will be attended by esteemed administrations, faculty, staff, students and alumni of the regionally renown Northern Illinois University.  The attendance pool will allow an opportunity to display one's brand at an event that embodies cultural diversity. Now more than ever, consumers are aware of how brands make statements that publicly display a committment to inclusion. By sponsoring this event, a brand will make a profound decleration on diversity as a core value.

Furthermore, this event will be cemented as an annual staple for the NIU community for years to come. Position your brand as a major contributor to this campus climate changing event and see the return on investment in the form increased exposure.

    Sean Vinson

As a first year graduate research assistant for Northern Illinois University's Center for Black Studies, I am committed to ensuring quality and success of this event. I will serve in the role of Lead Event Coordinator for this department for a two year time period.  Durig this time, I aim to plan and execute 6-10 campus and community events that will supplement my personal portfolio.  Given the fact that I have personal investment of reputation into the outcome of this event, I invite a potential sponsor to trust my own name as credibility collateral.
