About Birdies Fore Brighten Brighten Academy Charter School (BACS) serves 800+ student in grades K-8i nDouglas County GA.As a nonprofit public charter school, Brighten receives less funding than traditional schools, which requires us to raise approximately$1,500 per student every year to bridge our funding gap. Brighten Academy's Governing Board is hosting our annual fundraiser Birdies Fore Brighten golf tournament on Friday, November 01, 2019 at the Mirror LakeGolf course inVilla RicaGA. Funds from this event go to our Capital Campaign which enable us to purchase additional academic resources for our growing school, afford athletic and art program enhancements as well as provide for facility updates.
