beINSANE LAN Party,

Köln, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany Köln, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany

  • About the event

    » The Community

The community is based of 90+ active members and around 300 friends only in germany. Due our PUBG Team, we even earned quite on popularity in the phillipines.

    » The plan

We would like to give our community something permanent. And the chance to meet up twice a year in order to see each other and to enjoy the same hobby. Gaming.

    » The event

the beINSANE LAN is going to be similar to any other LANs, but what makes us special is the familiar feeling people will have once they entered the event.

Here are some things on what makes us special:

    - Gamers will have their own Desk (no sharing one desk with another person)
    - Gamers will have a comfortable chair, they can actually sit in for several hours without having back issues.
    - We will provide them with free water and coffee. (other things must be paid)
    - Every gamer will receive a goodie bag upon arrival.
    - No need of bringing ethernet cables or sleeping bag. We will have them for them.

    Why should you sponsor?

    » Intro

    Hakuna Matata!

My name is Desiree "NayailOnSpot" S.  and I am a 25 year old geek. I live because I dream and I dream to portrait my future.

Everybody has a dream and sometimes we can fulfill them ourselves. But sometimes it is necessary to ask for help. I ask you to at least read my story. Maybe YOU will be the one to help.

» The human behind the scene:

It all began in the year 2009 - my mom died because of cancer. I was 16 at that time and I was shortly about to finish my middle school. My dad decided to avoid my life as much as he could and even then he did not care enough to listen to me and what was really going on. So there I was, almost alone. It all happened quiet fast and a hard time followed. I believe I never really survived it and it will probably haunt me forever. Nowadays I feel like I have a hole in my heart, as I haven't had any contact to my family since.

2010 I began to surf online and even play online games. Through that, I made lots of contact with many different people and I liked it.

However, over the years I had many wrong decisions, got thrown into debts and I did not even manage to do my drivers license as the money has always been short. Through that, I won't be able to do my studies as a paramedic.

It is now 2018, I live for the gaming scene and do my own graphics. 50% of my time is put into this project and my boyfriend gets the other half. I own 3 pretty damn awesome cats and dream of owning a dog one day as well.

    » The story of "inRacc":

May, 29th - I finally did it. I started my own eSports community, the Insane Raccoons. We live by only one motto, that we're a family and have one specific rule: Reallife is important.

We managed to create this beautiful community in a really short time and we even own our own branding and merchandise. Our 90+ active members and their 250+ friends are keeping this community together but sadly, we haven't gotten any sponsors yet. This is the reason why we can't give our members as much as we would like to.

Our streamers would like to get more attention, our talents more appreciation and our Teams more possibilities. We love our community, without them we wouldn't be what we are - family.

    » The dream:

Sadly, we do not have any possibilities to go the next step. Our own LanParty in the middle of germany.

The decision is made, the plans are written - the BeInsane Vol. 1 has to happen. Our people are on fire but nobody has the money to help.

    » To do:

We were planing to host the first LanParty in of LanGroups rooms in the beginning of 2019. However we're realists and we know, that this probably won't be possible.

We were thinking to host the first Lan with "only" 70 entries but want to go big with success. All donations would be spent on Equipment, Room, Food and drinks and of course and tournament goodies and prices.

If someone is truly interested in sponsoring our BeInsane Vol. 1, then I will be able to provide any calculations that we've already done.

    » Outro:

In the name of Insane Raccoons, I thank each and everyone for reading this long wall of text. We hope we will be able to get any donations.

    Yours truly,
    The Insane Raccoons

    Desiree Symank

My life was messed up, when I was 16 and my mother died. I got pushed into the cold water, without anyone to teach me how to .. live. I'm not joking, my father wasn't interested in me enough and my brother only cared about money. I didn't want to live like that and decided to take things into my own hand and moved out. I finished High School and started to study Graphics Design... I got into a lot of debts and was forced to move multiple times due bad endings with relationships.

But then I found gaming and designing and I could not imagine my life without it anymore. I knew that this is what I want to do. But I definitely do not have the money for it.. I couldn't even do my drivers license since back then... how will I be able to pay for my community? I know that I am not nearly working as hard as other people in this world.. but I will start my second education soon as an event manager and the salary will be low. My 3 cats will need food, my boyfriend attention and my rent somehow needs to be paid aswell.

I enjoy life and living, but I believe my community would enjoy our own LAN even more.

I know that there are some very generous people out there and that gaming is maybe not everyones theme of interest but if I am able to reach at least one person, then I will be the happiest on earth.

I am willing to share our plans and our paperwork if you're willing to give us 30 minutes of your time.

    Thank you
