Beach Ultimate - Pick 10,

About the event

BUX-1 is the first of an annual string of "Pick10" Tournaments in Egypt and the first
Ultimate Beach Tournament in Egypt. BUX is a recommended event by the Beach
Ultimate Association BULA, the international governing body of the Beach Ultimate
worldwide. The tournament will take place on two days (August 25th - 26th, 2017) in
Lazorde Bay in North Coast
Players from AUC team, GUC team, Heliopolis team, DEO team, Stanley team,
Alexandria Ultimate team (Sporting Club), and Choueifat team will mix up together
with some international players to make new teams (8) to compete in one big, fun
event on the beach.

Why should you sponsor?

The sponsor will get access to more than 110 players competing in front of diverse audience on the Egyptian North Coast. 

The event is also a fundraiser for the first Egyptian Frisbee disc manufacturing
process. So far, all the discs used in Egypt are imported directly from USA which
makes it a costly process that block considerable percentage of the Egyptian youth
from playing Ultimate. Flying Disc Invasion is currently fundraising to have the first
locally manufactured discs enabling access to hundreds of players to the sport. All the
income of this event will be directed to the organization (sponsoring some players to
join our tournament, financing the promotional material, T-shirts, fields and
transportation) of the event and the rest will be directed to the manufacturing process
of the local discs.

Flying Disc

FDI is a national Egyptian initiative with a vision of getting all types of Egyptians
involved in a growing international sport that has the potential to expand
exponentially in Egypt. With the possibility of Ultimate Frisbee being an Olympic
sport in the near future, the team behind FDI decided to put Egypt on the
international Ultimate Frisbee map.
FDI establish new Ultimate Frisbee teams all around Egypt, Organize Ultimate Frisbee
events and tournaments. FDI also supports the Egyptian teams to get stronger and to
be more competitive.
