  • About the event

    “International Balkans Food, Agriculture, Livestock and Gastronomy Summit", will take place between September 26-30th, 2017 in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina. 

    In addition to gathering scientists expert on their subjects, researchers and representatives of both institutions and sector, a lot of topics will be argued during the Congress, such as Scientific Developments and New Approaches on Food, Agriculture, Livestock and Gastronomy, Investments Related to Technology, Sustainable Agricultural Policies, Food Safety, Animal Health, Natural Foods etc.  

    The Congress will be held based on the theme “Sustainable Agriculture and Livestock, Safe Food, Proper Nutrition and Healthy Life” and will encapsulate invited speakers, oral and poster presentations. Besides these presentations there will be an Exhibition Hall at which both scientists and representatives of institutions can meet and found close relationships with the sector representatives mutually.

    By organizing this summit, we aim to determine existing regional collaborations and investment opportunities, to facilitate founding new relationships between the institutions and individuals both scientific and economic level and to assess the business potentials, embracing the Balkan countries of which we have important scientific, economic and cultural relations from past to present and European and Mediterranean countries which are interested in that region.

    There will be enriched social and cultural events for preparing the participants to the scientific program before the congress and making them a little bit relax after the congress.
