Babushka Adoption Marathon,

About the event

Babushka Adoption wants to take part of a marathon named "Run The Silk Road" which takes place on the 15th of May in Cholpon Ata, Kyrgyzstan.  

The goal of the marathon is to promote the healthy lifestyle of old people. With this event we want to attract the public attention and find new sponsors to raise funds for obtaining awards for our old participants. We expect 3000 participants running around the Issyk-Kul region. 

Why should you sponsor?

We are looking for the sponsors who supports old people in various ways: 

- To help them financially, socially and legally 

- To raise awareness of a healthy lifestyle and active longevity 

Babushka Adoption

Babushka Adoption Foundation is a well-established organization working to improve the lives of the older adults through social and financial support, mobilization of the senior citizens, protection of their rights and promotion of their interests on a national level. Babushka means “Granny” or an older lady in Russian. The term “adoption” refers to individual sponsorship, providing financial support to lonely older adults in extreme poverty.
