I'm hoping you would please consider my sponsorship request for an event I'm planning for the McGrath Foundation. McGrath provide Breast Care Nurses throughout Australia to help individuals and their families experiencing breast cancer by providing physical, psychological and emotional support. From the time of diagnosis, and throughout treatment. McGrath currently have 117 Breast Care Nurses who are available to patients and their families for free. Supporting breast cancer care has been my top priority as of late as my mum has breast cancer that has spread to her bones and she's now receiving palliative care and symptom control. My best friend has also been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. My event for McGrath is starting and finishing in Brisbane, QLD, and I'm cycling the coast of Australia. I've decided to raise funds for McGrath to help with their ongoing work to provide Breast Cancer Care Nurses throughout Australia and also help spread breast awareness. Both myself and my mum never had a Breast Cancer Care Nurse because one just simply wasn't available for us, so all of the questions we had went though mum's Oncologist and sometimes having to wait days for a response that just added stress and pressure to an already difficult situation. I want to try my best to raise funds to get more nurses for McGrath so that other breast cancer patients can have that someone there to support them, to have their questions answered no matter how small they are, or to just have someone they can call. I'm asking if you would consider sponsoring me a return flight from London to Brisbane. In return I will offer logo branding of your company on newsletters, social media and all advertising I make. I'm also asking McGrath to place an advertisement in their newsletters too. I'm also open to suggestions from you as to what you would like in return for sponsorship too.
