About the event

ASLC is an annual conference where students from all over Asia get together to learn the importance of being a leader and to become change makers in their communities.

ASLC activities include:
-inspirational speeches by experienced “change makers”,
-team bonding activities,
-workshops, 
-group discussion on social issues and possible solutions,
-outdoor activities where students will have the opportunity to explore different areas of leadership. 

This conference is brought by Youth Ambassadors (YA), a non-profit social enterprise established to empower the youth and to make them realize that everyone has the potential to become leaders by having courage, compassion, wisdom, and energy.

ASLC THEME 2017: H2O

The world is full of Hope, Humanity, and Opportunity. The question is whether you can open your eyes wide enough to see, feel, and take action to make the hope come true and grasp the opportunity. 

This 5-day conference provides a platform to make the students realize H2O and to inspire them to take action. 

We will discuss various global issues, think of possible solutions, and learn from those who are taking actions to change.  

With these experiences, students in turn will become change makers and fight for the causes they are passionate about while bringing hope, humanity, and opportunity to others in their communities.

Greetings from Youth Ambassadors (YA) Singapore.

To start off, YA is a non-profit social enterprise which organizes educational conferences and programs to empower students from ASEAN and other countries. These events aim to not only enrich the lives of the youths who participate but to also help youths make a difference.

I would like to take this opportunity to briefly introduce our conferences for you to have an overview of what we do. YA mainly organizes educational conferences that cover a variety of topics which include Environmental Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Leadership Programs, Arts, etc., and invites students around ASEAN countries and beyond to join 5-day training programs in Singapore. Last year, our programs received so much participation and support from students all around Asia as well as Australia, China, Korea and the United States. This year, we aim to soar higher and provide more opportunities to those who seek chances to join our programs. 

For this year, 2017, we will be having four conferences:

1. Youth Environmental Summit (YES) – February 15 to 19, 2017
2. Asia Math Engineering Conference (AMEC) – June 6 to 10, 2017
3. Science Technology Innovation Creativity "K"onference (STICK) – July 12 to 16, 2017
4. Asia Students Leadership Conference (ASLC) – July 26 to 30, 2017
