The Institute of Internal Auditors Malawi (IIA Malawi) is the recognised internal audit profession’s national voice, chief advocate, authority, acknowledged leader and principal educator on governance, risk management and control in Malawi with well over 300 members spread throughout the country.

All Sponsoring organizations will variously receive recognition in the conference program, conference brochure, acknowledgements, advertisements, exhibition in the conference lobby and related materials. Prominence in these materials shall be based on your level of participation.

The Institute of Internal Auditors Malawi’s  Conference has been labelled the biggest and best forum in Malawi where business executives, financial managers, corporate financiers, consultants, civic and civil society leaders share experiences and network with the leaders in the internal auditing profession and be exposed to a global audit perspective.

Gladys Banda, Senior Operations Officer for the Institute of Internal Auditors, Malawi.  I hold a degree in Business Marketing from Glyndwr University and a Master's in Business Administration from the University of South Wales, Newport.

As a developing country, Malawi has had to deal with many obstacles, a huge obstacle being corruption.  I believe that one of the ways to fight corruption is to have well equipped internal auditors, both in the private and public sectors.  Sponsoring our annual conference will go a long way such as ensuring that the conference is well equipped and ensure the facilitators to bring in the best facilitators of the event.  For those that cannot sponsor financially, facilitating opportunities are also available and any advise and/or help in advertising are also most welcome!
