Dear Supporter:

We are pleased to share the announcement of June 14th as ParentJobNet Appreciation Day, awarded to us by the Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer.

In celebration of this honor, on Thursday, June 14th at 6:30pm we will host our Benefit Awards Dinner at Alfred Lerner Hall at Columbia University.

This event highlights our 13th year empowering public school families on the path of good jobs and careers, something we are very proud of, and we hope that you will help us continue our work by being among our sponsors for this important evening.

The event will consist of live jazz entertainment, our 1st Humanitarian Awards presented to distinguished individuals who are making a difference in our communities and touching many lives through their work and advocacy (honorees will be announced shortly) and an opportunity to meet some of the parents whose lives have been transformed through ParentJobNet.

As a sponsor, you will receive a host of benefits including a VIP cocktail reception, dinner, entertainment with special guest legendary singer Melba Moore, master of ceremony Doctor Bob Lee of WBLS Radio, and inspiring heartwarming stories from our clients.  With your help, we can continue reaching and uplifting low-income public school parents by providing free programs to them and the entire community.

We are proud to share that ParentJobNet (PJN) has helped transform the lives of 16,000+ low-income public-school parents by providing career counseling, job placement, job training, workforce education, and follow-up services that resulted in sustainable wage growth jobs and successful long-term employment for many public school families. We also thank the employing companies who have helped us add 69 jobs this past year by believing in and hiring our applicants.

Attached is a description of available sponsorship levels (which also includes VIP tickets to the dinner), advertisement opportunities in our commemorative journal, media spots, and distribution opportunities inside our event gift bags.

Thank you in advance for your support and I look forward to speaking to you further.  I can be reached at Phone 212-362-2735 or via Email:

Patricia Craddick

Patricia (Pat) Craddick is the Executive Director of ParentJobNet, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization she founded in December 2004.

With many years of experience on Wall Street as a financial services professional, she has worked at large investment companies in a variety of positions ranging from portfolio management and client services to training and development. Assisted in managing and hedging the first index-linked derivative product in the financial market during her long tenure at Chase Bank was one of her most rewarding and notable accomplishments in Corporate America. During the early 90’s, she spearheaded her first business enterprise in the e-commerce network communications industry.

In the wake of 9/11, Pat felt the financial strain of corporate downsizing. As a mother new to the public school setting, she used this experience as an opportunity to create ParentJobNet to empower other public school parents with the job resources they need to build financially stable homes to help their children succeed.

Started in 2004 as a grassroots initiative at P.S. 87 on the Upper West Side, NYC, ParentJobNet quickly grew to support 4 school districts in Northern Manhattan operating in 26 public schools. The concept started as an internet-based resource linking parents to jobs and has grown into a school-bases community program founded on the premise that strengthening the economic security of parents promotes the wellbeing of their children. Having an impact on over 15,500 families over the years, the organization now focuses on Harlem based public schools and plans to scale its programs across the Tri-State area and beyond.

In May 2006, Pat was awarded a Good Neighbor Award by Goddard Riverside Community Center for her vision and dynamic leadership in establishing ParentJobNet and in 2008 she received a Wesly Award from the West Side Spirit in the Entrepreneurial category for creating and developing ParentJobNet. In addition, on June 14 2017, Pat received 7 proclamation and citation awards from local, state, and federal government for her outstanding commitment and leadership through ParentJobNet community service work. See awards.

Pat holds a M.S Degree in Nonprofit Management, Philanthropy/Fundraising from New York University and a B.S Degree in Economics from Pace University.  In addition, she has done post-graduate Business studies at Columbia University and New York University and holds professional certifications in Portfolio Management, Training and Development, and Project Management.

Pat is an avid runner residing in NY and has a talented daughter studying acting in LA.
