About the event

Arts Management Student Organisation (AMSO) a student-run body representing Arts Management students at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). Arts Management is a three-year business degree designed to arm students with the skills and knowledge to manage within the arts and creative industries. Throughout 2017 AMSO will be cultivating a diverse program of events and fundraisers that aim to raise crucial funds to send students to national and international arts organisations for their compulsory third year secondments. The raised funds will aid in the travel, accommodation and living costs of students during this ten-week period.

This year’s main fundraising event for AMSO is a Halloween Trivia Night. This event is a brand new project for our organisation and is something we hope will be successful and a continued tradition. The trivia night will allow the students of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts to kinder their competitive spirits and get to know the students across the various courses. In the past, AMSO events have attracted many WAAPA students and events like this has been a vital source of the organisation’s proceeds. 

As part of the AMSO Trivia Night, AMSO is seeking support from the local community and businesses for the donation of prizes for the finalists and winners of the event, as well as any other financial or in kind support from the community. The course has relied upon the generosity of small businesses and arts related organizations to help fund and provide a prize pool for events each year. 

Any size donation can make a large difference in the outcome of funds raised and in turn can greatly benefit and aid our students in achieving their goals. All businesses providing donations will receive verbal recognition and logo placement on screen at the event, however this may be negotiated if a company wishes to provide signage.

The arts management student organisation (AMSO) and student body would be so entirely grateful for any donation or contact that will be able to help.
