  • About the event

Alténative Fest is a celebration of the ‘otherness’ to design and style. It is for lovers of alternative fashion breaking style barriers and crossing boundaries; the outcast, the androgynous, the abstract and the curious at heart. The festivals’ ultimate aim is to promote, encourage and enrich the creative industries, creative individuals of Nigeria and embrace a true culture of inclusivity.

On Saturday, December 21, 2019, Alténative Fashion Festival is launching its first edition at the African Artists’ Foundation , Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria. The festival is an all day event featuring the art and a futuristic experience of fashion, genre-bending music, contemporary Nigerian foods and drinks, interactive stations and much more, celebrating and promoting the young creative consumers in Nigeria. Festival attendees will be experiencing all five senses while networking with the movers and shakers of the creative Nigerian youths at large. The depths of Nigeria’s rich creativity provides an immeasurable collection to draw from and bring forth a quality event infused with energy and integrated into contemporary lifestyles. We are raising the standard for the creative experience in Nigeria and as a lifestyle in Africa.

    Why should you sponsor?

Promotes a Positive Brand Every organization strives to maintain a positive brand image, respected identity and favorable public opinion. The Alténative Festival will deliver a favorable brand positioning and opinion for over 250 people on event day and multiples more over the course of the months leading up to the event via our digital, social and broadcast promotion of your brand association with the festival.

Increases Brand Awareness Consumers have choice and they use it well. The main purpose of brand awareness is to generate preference in the mind of the consumer and increase customer loyalty. Becoming a sponsor can directly influence brand awareness and increase sales numbers particularly if you have a stable position in the marketplace, or trying to build an emerging brand. Alténative Festival represents a unique opportunity to get your product and services in the hands of their target customer and can potentially help them earn market share,  you also stand the chance to reach consumers where your competitor isn’t.

Reaches a Wide Demographic Your sponsorship investment allows the festival, and in turn you as a sponsor, to reach a wider demographic. With over 250 attendees from across Lagos, the Diaspora and end-of-the-year holiday visitors, and even wider via our Social Media exposure, your brand is placed in the view of hundreds of participants, and even more by word of mouth though attendees.

Enhances Customer Experience When it’s good, it’s positive. People want empathy, a great service, and most of all an experience. Nothing builds great ambassadors for your brand than happily engaged customers. When customers have a favorable experience with your brand, they tell everyone and it encourages them to patronize your organization. Investing money in the festival to create direct customer engagement can improve the customer experience and satisfaction with your brand at the festival and beyond.

Corporate Social Responsibility We are really proud of what we do and your company can support us by engaging in a philanthropic way. We are driven to promote the creativity and cultures of Nigeria and bring the significance of the creative industries to the forefront , and broaden the imaginations of the people. Your organization stands the chance to align your brand to a mission that customers may be passionate about. These consumers want to know you care about them and their communities. There are many ways in which you can help us to achieve this.
